Bakwan Sayur (Vegetables Fritters) Vegan & Vegetarian friendly🌱
Bakwan Sayur or better known as Vegetable Fritters is such a tasty snack and also good to have as as dish for main meals! Try out our suggested method of making the crispiest and tastiest:
Ingredients:
Julienned carrot
Julienned Chinese cabbage
Julienned cabbage
Chopped shallot
Chopped garlic
Gunpowder
Pepper
Mushroom bouillon
Salt
Flour
Water
Steps:
1. Prepare all vegetables as per ingredients. You may use any other hard vegetables. Ratio for shallots and garlic is 1:10. For example, if you have 100g of vegetables, you may use 10g of garlic and 10 g of shallots.
2. Mix dry ingredients together; approximately one teaspoon of Gunpowder, pepper, salt and mushroom bouillon. For the amount of flour and water to use, ensure you get the consistency like in the video, I prefer it to be slightly wetter so it’s airier and crispier.
3. Fry till golden brown and flatten the fritter so that it’s crispy.
